Wagner Stempel Reserve Merlot 2020

The Merlot R trocken from Wagner-Stempel from the German wine-growing region of Siefersheim in Rheinhessen is a pure, balanced and complex red wine made exclusively from organically grown Merlot grapes. In the glass this wine shimmers in a deep ruby red with dark purple highlights. The nose is skilfully pampered by a fruity and spicy bouquet. Berry aromas of juicy blackberries and cassis unfold - perfectly complemented by spicy-balsamic notes of tobacco as well as chocolate and a fine hint of oak wood spice. On the palate, this German red wine has a filigree acidity that harmonizes wonderfully with the strong and extremely mineral body. The velvety, concise tannin structure is in perfect balance. With seductive power and enormous volume, this wine closes with a finish of great length.
