Wagner Stempel Heerkretz Pinot Noir Großes Gewächs 2020

Stuart Pigott (James Suckling) rated Daniel Wagner's debut vintage of the Großes Gewächs from Pinot Noir from heerkretz last year as the "most remarkable new release in the field of German Pinot Noir for many years" and awarded 96 points! The vines ripen right next to the "EMT" plot from which Wagner-Stempel harvests the auction Riesling. "For us, the current Great Growth is his greatest litter to date. It delivers a light garnet red wine with a fruity bouquet of raspberries, a little punch fruit and hibiscus blossoms. It is floral and cool and then surprises all the more on the palate. Here the fruit takes on a dark character, is powerful and coated in plush tannins. 94 points rated by Stuart Pigott
