Colin Clos de la Fosse le Loups 2018

100% Chardonnay from Coteau Champenois. A lovely white wine,finely crafted in barrels – with an overt Burgundianinfluence – and it brings a subtle and blended balance between fruit and wood.  The initial aromas are notes of peach, damp chalk, brine and toast with a hint of vanilla. Aerating the wine brings out clove, quince, brioche, lemon, star anise and dried fruit ending on floral aromas of sunflower and buttercup.
