The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Festina Lente is slightly more expensive and comes from Howell Mountain, located on the northeastern side of Napa Valley. Brought up in 68% new French oak, it offers a firmer, more structured style as well as serious black fruits and notes of roasted herbs, scorched earth, graphite, and spicy oak. Rich, concentrated, and medium to full-bodied, it has an almost Bordeaux-like vibe in its acidity and tannins, beautiful overall balance, and a great finish. It's a beautiful, age-worthy, mountain Cabernet that will benefit from a few years of bottle age and keep for 15-20. 98 points rated by Erin Brooks
