LOU MIRANDA ESTATE
It started when our nonno, Francesco Miranda came to Australia in 1938. The one thing he knew from his southern Italian upbringing was that good wine was as important as a loving family and close friends. He arrived in Griffith, New South Wales and set about building his dream.

His son Lou has spent a lifetime building on his father’s passion while adding his own unique style. That led to the development of the boutique winery Lou Miranda Estate, in the Barossa Valley, South Australia.

Now we are proud to introduce the family’s premium quality wines, Primo Amore and Leone.

CLAYRIDGE
Clayridge Vineyards is an exciting concept with its focus based around a dynamic hand-crafted hillside vineyard. The Pinot Noir vines that Mike and Paula Just hand planted on this steep north facing slope are situated on the highest such site in Marlborough. These vines, unlike most on the low flat plains of the region, have never been irrigated and as such have established a natural deep rooting system that will maximize the flavour potential of the low vigor clay-based soils on this unique site. This combination of altitude and attitude will allow the vineyard to exhibit the genuine potential of the terroir of this special slope.

MELVILLE
Our beautiful two-story winery resembles a romantic Mediterranean Villa. Set within a landscape of lavender bushes and poplar, oak, and sycamore trees, the winery is the nucleus of our estate grown Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Syrah vines.

MAN VINTNERS
This MAN thing began with three friends and an idea: to make a wine that we ourselves would love to buy. Good quality, excellent value and cool packaging. Not exactly an epiphany, but enough to motivate us to action. What do we call it? Keeping peace in the family, we took the initials of our wives. (We each have one, that is.) So that is how we explained to Marie, Anette, and Nicky that we were going to be “busy” most weekends. It’s for you! We told them. Could’ve slapped on something cute and furry but the world doesn’t need another critter label. We are trying to do something different. It’s the WINE we are excited about! Bold and gutsy, reflecting our extreme terroir.

STARK-CONDE
The Stark wines are made from carefully selected blocks of various microclimates on our farm. The name Stark-Condé is a combination of my wife's family name and my own. All our wines are made of grapes from our family-owned Oude Nektar farm in the Jonkershoek Valley of Stellenbosch. The vineyard elevations on Oude Nektar range from 150 to 600 metres, with corresponding variations in microclimate.
